A equitable new house entrance with a porch and a new bedroom with en-suite were proposed at the side and front of the house.
The traditional rear-box extension was break with a tilt recess, which offers a canopy to the envelope itself – useful during the raining day. A wide sliding door window and framed one balanced the rear facade.
A welcoming fire place was proposed, as a collecting point for the family and their gathering. A generous open plan kitchen-living area were accommodated; connected with an separated welcoming room.
The sunlight path of the site was considered and the proposed solution was a balanced between a modern and traditional one. Well received by the clients who are aimed to move to the construction stage in a due time.
